GOLD SPONSOR
Algo is the pioneer of demand-driven supply chain planning, purpose-built for mid-market manufacturers navigating demand volatility, inventory pressure, and execution breakdown. The company's platform, Algo + Intuiflow, is the only solution that combines advanced demand intelligence with proven demand-driven execution logic in a single unified system — replacing the forecast-first assumptions of legacy MRP with planning logic built to absorb variability, not amplify it. Manufacturers running NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or Dynamics use Algo + Intuiflow to reduce inventory by 20–30%, improve service promise reliability, and unlock working capital trapped in excess supply — typically within a single planning cycle. Algo serves manufacturers across automotive, industrial machinery, aerospace, food and beverage, medical device, and industrial electronics sectors. For more information, visit algo.com.

PRECONFERENCE SESSIONS (SEPT 9)
MORNING SESSIONS (9:00 AM - 12:15 PM):
Adaptive Sales & Operations Planning (AS&OP) - FULL DAY
Join DDI Cofounder Carol Ptak for a day of exploration at the strategic end of the Demand Driven Adaptive Enterprise Model. This session is ideal for leaders and leadership teams. $250 per person. This is a full day session - do not purchase additional preconference activities if you purchase this section.
A Thought Leader’s Guide to the Supply Chain Universe
Join DDI Master Instructor John Melbye for this interactive, intriguing, and thoughtful conversation about our supply chains.
We’ll talk about standard processes that all of us have accepted in supply chain. We’ll talk about some potential uses of A.I. that are often overlooked. And we’ll talk about what is possible when we stop doing things the way we’ve always done them.
We begin with the premise that perhaps we’ve been asking the wrong questions. But we’ll collectively and collaboratively explore what may be the right questions. Are we chasing the wrong metrics? Are we improving things we should not even be doing? How much of the supply chain chaos are we causing ourselves? Come prepared to participate, answer questions, and above all, have fun. $100 per person.
AFTERNOON SESSIONS (1:30 PM - 5:00 PM):
DDBrix Engineer for Flow - The Best DDMRP Serious Game
How do you choose your decoupling points in a Make to Order (MTO) environment? Why integrate modularity? What is the impact on supply chain performance? Discover how to accelerate flows, increase flexibility, reduce inventory, and make customers more satisfied. A practical, engaging, and impactful learning experience to firmly anchor the principles of DDMRP. $100 per person
Tips and Tricks for Modeling a Demand Driven Operating Model
Debra Smith from Constraints Management Group will share their process for modeling complex environments including ETO, MTO situations. This half-day session will bring insights and takeaways that will be immediately impactful and actionable for attendees.
$100 per person.
CASE STUDIES

Our confirmed case studies are below. All case studies are delivered by actual personnel at the company being featured. We will be adding additionally case studies shortly (we are planning on seven in total).

BREAKOUT SESSIONS
INTRODUCTORY BREAKOUTS
Intro to Demand Driven Material Requirements Planning (DDMRP)
If you are new the Demand Driven Methodology this is the ground floor for manufacturing entities. Learn about the method that is changing companies' bottom lines and planning personnel's' lives for the better!
Intro to Demand Driven Distribution Requirements Planning (DDDRP)
If you are new the Demand Driven Methodology this is the ground floor for distribution entities. Learn about the method that is changing companies' bottom lines and planning personnel's' lives for the better!
The Demand Driven Operating Model
Join DDI Master Bruno Acosta to learn about the entire operational model in the Demand Driven methodology. For many complex environments DDMRP is just the supply order engine in a larger framework that includes time and capacity buffering and finite scheduling around critical resources.
Demand Driven Sales & Operations Planning (DDS&OP)
Often referred to as the "secret sauce" of a successful and sustainable Demand Driven implementation, learn about the tactical component of the Demand Driven Adaptive Enterprise framework where strategy adapts the operating model and the operating model adapts strategy.
The Power of Inventory Positioning
The first step DDMRP is establishing strategic inventory positions called decoupling points. In retail and distribution inventory must be present at nearly every location. But in manufacturing that is seldom the case. Thus, the first question regarding inventory in manufacturing is not, “How much?” or “When?”. The first question is “Where?” Where to place strategic points of stock that facilitate flow and cash velocity. The answer is not, “Everywhere” nor is it “Nowhere”. In this session, we will explore the impact of Inventory Positioning on lead time, agility, resilience as well as discuss the difference between decoupling point inventory and conventional safety stock.
ADVANCED BREAKOUTS
Are DDMRP Buffers Hedges, Call Options, or Both?
Most organizations view inventory as a necessary cost of doing business. Finance sees working capital. Operations sees stock. Lean sees waste. But what if those perspectives are only part of the story? This session explores a different view: not all inventory is economically equal. Some inventories simply consume capital. Other inventories—specifically, strategically positioned decoupling buffers—functions as a working capital asset that absorbs variability and preserves flexibility in an uncertain environment. Drawing on Demand Driven planning principles, we will examine why decoupling buffers behave differently from conventional inventory and why their economic contribution may be better understood through concepts more commonly associated with finance. Like a hedge, strategic buffers help protect organizations from adverse variability. Like an option, they preserve the ability to respond when favorable opportunities emerge. The discussion challenges several long-held assumptions. Is volatility always something to be minimized? Why do some organizations consistently outperform competitors despite facing the same uncertainty? Why do adaptive supply chains often create more value than organizations that focus primarily on forecast accuracy? By exploring the parallels between strategic buffers, hedging, and option-like flexibility, participants will gain a new perspective on how Demand Driven organizations deploy working capital to reduce downside exposure while preserving upside potential. What if the primary purpose of a DDMRP buffer is not to hold inventory, but to preserve flexibility? For supply chain leaders, practitioners, and executives, this session led by DDI Instructor Brendan Fox offers a fresh perspective on the economic foundations of Demand Driven thinking and the role of flexibility in creating enterprise value.
Supply Chain Variability Is a Fact of Life. Instability Is a Design Choice
Supply chains operate in a world of unavoidable volatility. Demand changes. Suppliers fail. Transportation is disrupted. Forecasts are wrong. Yet some supply chains remain remarkably stable while others spend their lives firefighting. Why?
This session introduces a new way of thinking about supply chain performance—not through the lens of forecasts, inventory levels, or service metrics, but through the lens of instability. Participants will explore why volatility alone does not determine performance, how instability emerges from the interaction between variability and supply chain architecture, and why some products, locations, and portfolios become disproportionately vulnerable to disruption. Using real-world examples, visual diagnostics, and portfolio-level perspectives, this session will reveal how instability leaves measurable fingerprints within replenishment systems and how those signals can be used to identify hidden sources of risk and opportunity.
